We are thrilled to announce that the Creative Community Impact Association (CCIA) recently held its first official board meeting, marking a significant milestone in our journey to build more inclusive, creative communities.

A New Chapter for CCIA

The meeting brought together the founding board members, each committed to advancing equity, accessibility, and community engagement through the arts. Together, they discussed strategic priorities and upcoming initiatives that will support artists, educators, and mission-driven creatives.

Key Actions and Highlights

Important actions taken at the meeting included the adoption of the organizations bylaws, governance policies, and initial resolutions, establishing the framework for the organization’s work in the community. Additional highlights included:

  • Board Leadership: Officers were elected, creating a leadership structure to guide programs, governance, and community initiatives.

  • Board Introductions: Members shared their backgrounds and experiences, highlighting the diverse perspectives that will guide the association's work.

  • Mission Alignment: The board reaffirmed the commitment to creating spaces where people feel connected and empowered to participate in creative endeavors.

  • Future Plans: Discussions focused on programs, fundraising strategies, and partnerships that will amplify the organization's impact in the coming year.

A Message from the Executive Director

“Seeing our team connect so naturally was incredible,” said Jacquelyn Miccolis, Founder & Executive Director. “The board's passion for our mission wasn't just talked about, it was felt. Their dedication and expertise set a strong foundation for our work in the community.”

What's Next

With the foundation now in place, CCIA is ready to bring its mission of art for social good to life. In the coming months, we will launch programs, events, and initiatives that amplify social justice, foster community engagement, and inspire creativity. We look forward to sharing updates as our work continues to grow.
