CREATIVE COMMUNITY
IMPACT ASSOCIATION
CREATIVE ARTS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE ACROSS CANADA
Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we put our crayons away and with them a part of our ability to imagine, create, and connect. At CCIA, we believe the arts are for everyone, not just children. We use creativity as a medium to educate, connect, and inspire. Through arts-based workshops, collaborative programs, and accessible learning experiences, we help artists, educators, and mission-driven creatives build skills, strengthen connections, and create lasting social impact.

What We do
We use art as a tool for learning and engagement, creating hands-on workshops and projects that center social justice themes, foster community, and build socially-engaged skills.
Our programs are inclusive, participatory, and designed to inspire reflection, dialogue, and meaningful social impact.

Who We Are
Creative Community Impact Association (CCIA) is a community-engaged arts organization that uses art as a medium for education, connection, and social inclusion. We work at the intersection of arts, learning, and community development, creating accessible pathways for adults to explore creative practice and engage with social and cultural themes.

Our Community
Our programs are open to all adults, with a focus on supporting:
-
artists and creatives exploring or expanding community-engaged practice
-
educators, facilitators, and cultural workers using creative methods
-
mission-driven leaders and organizers integrating arts into community engagement
-
adults interested in creative approaches to connection, learning, and social participation
We welcome people of all skill levels, no prior arts experience required.

Why It Matters
Art is a powerful tool for exploring social justice, building community, and fostering inclusion. CCIA’s accessible, hands-on programs help adults learn, reflect, and engage meaningfully in their communities, sparking dialogue, developing skills, and strengthening connections. Through these experiences, we support a more creative, inclusive, and socially engaged society.
