Art is our tool. Community is our masterpiece.
Creativity brings people together in ways that feel welcoming, meaningful, and accessible.
At CCIA, creativity is not about the final product. It is about the connections, conversations, and sense of belonging created through the process.
Through our free community programming, we use creative practice to support dialogue and reflection around inclusion, accessibility, diversity, environmental futures, and collective care.
That’s why we exist.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Your support helps us create free, accessible community programming where people can connect, create, and belong.
In our first year of public programming, together we have:
11 Free community program sessions hosted
234+ Participant engagements through intentionally small, accessible creative spaces
12 Community partnerships built
4 Core program streams established
Every registration-based, in-person program reached capacity, with many participants returning for multiple offerings. This reflects a growing need for accessible creative spaces where people can participate, connect, and build community.
What happens when we create together
The numbers only tell part of the story, the people tell the rest.
It's the first time in a long time that I've felt like I belong."
"I didn't even know what I'd signed up for. I just knew that if CCIA was running it, I wanted to be there."
"Before today, I hadn't left my home in months. I'm really glad I came."
Participant reflections have been anonymized to protect privacy while preserving the authentic voices and experiences of our community members.
These are more than creative experiences. They are moments where people feel welcomed, connected, and part of something bigger. Through creativity, people find opportunities to participate, reflect, and build relationships within their communities.
Your support helps us create more accessible spaces where these moments can happen.

FOUNDERS'CIRCLE FAQ
Creative Community Impact Association is a federally incorporated nonprofit.
Federal Corporation No.: 1714354-1 | Nova Scotia Registry ID: 4733519
What does this mean for your donation?
In Canada, nonprofits and registered charities both work to strengthen communities, but they operate under different legal structures. Creative Community Impact Association is a federally incorporated nonprofit, not a registered charity, and therefore cannot issue official charitable tax receipts.
While your donation is not tax-deductible, it has a direct and meaningful impact by helping us provide accessible creative programming, foster community connection, and advance inclusion through the arts.
