Arts-Based Education for Creative Changemakers

We offer creative practice based education designed specifically for artists, cultural workers, and mission-driven creatives working at the intersection of art, justice, and community. Our accessible, artist-led learning spaces empower participants to expand their creative practice, deepen their social impact, and connect with like-minded changemakers. Whenever possible, programs are offered free or on a sliding scale to ensure accessibility for all.

Practice-Based Learning for Art and Social Change

Our workshops equip independent artists, teaching artists, facilitators, and cultural workers with practical tools and critical insights to lead, collaborate, and innovate through socially engaged art. Delivered in flexible formats including in-person sessions, live online events, and pre-recorded modules, each workshop blends presentations, creative activities, and group discussions designed to foster skill development, reflection, and community connection.

Creative Impact Forum

Connecting Artists, Innovators, Educators & Cultural Leaders

Launching in 2026, the Creative Impact Forum builds on the success of the 2024 Supernova Conference and brings together a national community of artists, cultural workers, educators, and mission-driven creatives. This nonprofit-led initiative is designed to spark social change, strengthen collaboration, and amplify the impact of creative communities across Canada.

The Forum is part education, part celebration, and part community-building, providing a space to share tools, explore innovative strategies, and imagine what is possible when creativity drives social good.

What to Expect:

  • Keynote Talks & Panel Discussions - Insightful conversations with thought leaders

  • Live Performances - Showcasing creativity in action

  • Reflection & Connection - Dedicated time to network, collaborate, and envision collective impact

Building on a Proven Legacy

The Creative Impact Forum grows from the energy of the 2024 Supernova Conference, produced by our founder through her social enterprise, Supernova Events. That gathering united artists, educators, and cultural leaders, igniting collaboration, inspiration, and creativity. The Forum carries that momentum forward, expanding its reach nationally under a nonprofit model that fosters lasting engagement and community impact.
