Creative Collaborations
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do.
We partner with community organizations, arts councils, cultural spaces, public partners, and research institutions across Canada to deliver arts-based programs that are accessible, inclusive, and rooted in local community connection.
Our collaborations are designed to be flexible and responsive, helping us understand local needs, reduce barriers to participation, and strengthen inclusive practice in the arts. These partnerships support the ongoing development of our programs, foster meaningful community engagement, and advance research-informed approaches to accessibility and inclusion across the arts sector.
AccessArt Alliance
We are contributing to a national, multi-year Public Art & Accessibility Research Project led by AccessArt Alliance in Toronto. From Halifax, we are helping expand the project’s scope and geographic reach, incorporating diverse perspectives to support a more comprehensive understanding of accessibility in public spaces for people with disabilities.
Halifax Public Libraries
We were selected to be part of the Halifax Public Libraries community programming. Following our successful facilitation of an arts-based workshop, we look forward to a continued relationship with the library system to provide accessible creative opportunities for a diverse city-wide audience.
Visual Arts Nova Scotia
We are collaborating with Visual Arts Nova Scotia on our workshop, Writing for Accessibility in the Arts. This session brings together artists and arts organizations to share practices, build connections, and explore ways to make the arts more inclusive and accessible.
Astor Theatre & Arts Centre
We are expanding our programming to the South Shore through a partnership with Astor Theatre in Liverpool. By facilitating workshops at this historic venue, we are working to bridge the gap between urban and rural arts accessibility and bring inclusive creative opportunities to new audiences.
Mirror Form Photography
Mirror Form Photography contributions have generously supported both participant learning and visual storytelling, providing professional media expertise and co-facilitation for our community workshops.
Open Book Coffee, Trident Cafe & Books
Local partners like Open Book Coffee and Trident Cafe support our mission by providing welcoming neighborhood spaces for creative exploration and helping us share our inclusive programming with the wider community
